Gracie was seized from the roommate of the owner who abandoned her. The roommate let her starve. When surrendered she weighed only 37 lbs. Gracie also had a history of seizures and had missed 6 months of medications.
After an ER visit and stabilizing her medications, she has been seizure free for almost 8 months and is back to her appropriate weight of 56 lbs.
Despite all the neglect she endured, Gracie is a loving dog who adores children and loves to cuddle. Gracie’s happy ending is her own family, including another Dal – Austin, to love and care for her for the rest of her life.
Zuke was surrendered by his owners because they were not prepared for the training an active, smart Dalmatian might need. As a result, he was very rambunctious, unruly, and a little destructive. The landlord said he MUST GO! Turns out, he is a very sweet boy who is great with all other dogs and loves to play. His new family have an active lifestyle that fits Zuke’s personality perfectly. They love him, have taught him manners and he gets to do all kinds of fun things that keep him happy and occupied.
